Tarot is an ancient divination practice using, what once was, simple playing cards. Through tarot and oracle card divination, Victoria informs her clients on life progression and things to keep in mind for the future. Tarot is often thought of as a means to gain insight on prophecy. Sometimes this is true, but sometimes it’s a cathartic tool for healthy confirmation and validation.
That being said, divination is no substitute for mental health resources. There is no such thing as an emergency tarot reading. If you are having an emergency please contact your local mental health service or call 9-1-1.
Having been born a witch on Friday the 13th, Victoria has a natural affinity for augury, numerology, and aura reading. She began practicing various divination forms when she was twelve, and took on cartomancy at fourteen. During her time at Maine College of Art, Victoria quickly learned that spiritualism saturated most of art history. Her 2017 BFA Thesis Tres Oculi paired her knowledge on visual iconography with her desire to illuminate the artistry behind many divination practices. Victoria primarily studied eastern religions while finishing up her BFA, however, she also enjoys learning about the Celtic traditions from her Irish Ancestry. Before coming to Virginia, Victoria studied Tarot more closely through the Abrahadabra Oasis in Portland, Maine where she honed her skills with other practitioners.
“Humans were so circular; they lived the same slow cycles of joy and misery over and over, never learning. Every lesson in the universe had to be taught billions of times, and it never stuck.”
